I woke up in a panic: "Must clean house! Parents coming tomorrow!"
I swear, if CPS walked through my door right then, they'd have taken my children away and written in their report that they were living in filth. Okay, it wasn't that bad, but I did desperately need to clean.
Interesting items found:
-petrified slice of turkey under the couch
-piece of paper with writing: "Dum, dum, stupid, DUM, DUM!!!"
-shot glasses filled with dried mud
-sake shot glass filled with tiny things: beads, sequins, etc.
So...I cleaned all day until Joey came home. Then Tania went to play at her friend's house while we walked to the grocery store.
Tomorrow, we'll go to a nurse-in at the airport at the Delta ticket counter.

There was a nurse-in today at Bradley Airport here in Connecticut, too...if I had known, I SO would have gone!
I just recently found your blog, btw, and love it! Ihave 2 kids...3 and 1/2 year old boy and 3 month old girl...who we're planning to unschool (i guess we already do :) ) and its fun to see the things your family does during the day.
Awesome!
I had already bought Delta tickets to go home in a week and DAMNIT if Maya did not wean herself one freaking week ago. I was SO excited to nurse a 22 month old toddler on the plane.
Dag nammit.
Oh man...I cleaned my couch out and found a Go-gurt wrapper...I don't even BUY go-gurt. Ewww
